Bank Holiday Bouncing
I am one tired Pup tonight as B & P and I went on an adventure - we walked a very long way to Elnup woods and back - it involved a fair bit of slutching through muddy woods (P nearly lost his shoe in one bit and I had to look very hard at a stick so he didn't notice my doggy laughing - he really doesn't like mud) We came to a big pond which B said was part of the John Pit Lodge, I thought about a swim but the bottom felt all squishy so I just put my head under and had a good look round instead.
I was pretty glad to see familiar paths (I have faith in my humans but sometimes I do worry about their sense of direction - after all I have never seen them sniff a post or leave little messages as they go along) although I wasn't that keen on the hosing down I recieved when we got in! I have been an inmovable object (as B calls it) since returning taking up the rug - infact I am so tired I didn't even move when roast chicken was served - hmm note to self must check out my bowl just to see if any chicken skin has found its way in! (Sigh - no it is empty and sitting nicely under the chicken on the side hasn't resulted in any - I am a hard done to pup)
Apart from having my paws walked off it has been a very busy weekend - starting off with my return to school - it was really nice to see Indi and Lottie and Charlie again and I met some new friends too. The lessons are really hard so will have to make sure I do my practices during the week as I do get a little over excited on the day and distracted!
Other than that I have mostly been visting Nana and Dubadee, which is always good for a snuggle and a pat and I also went to see Rene - Taz and I wanted to wrestle but there isn't much room in Rene's so when we got a bit boisterous I had to be taken home. Maybe if it sunny next time I go round we can go for a romp down the canal bank.
I am settling down to watch the Edinburgh Tattoo now - I do like all the drummers and marching and stuff - if I could just work out where they go when they reach the edge of the screen?!!?! (B says I like it cos the bagpipes sound like mangled moggies - not sure what she means by that)
Snuff Ya laters x
